Nima Abbasi

Nima Abbasi has 20+ years of exploring the "Near Future" of the Digital Revolution, working at the intersection of business innovation and new technology.

Nima is currently a Partner at Maison Meta, the world’s leading AI Studio working with the likes of Moncler, Revolve, Pangaia, Zara, Google, Victoria's Secret, UBS, Mango, Coty, H&M, Unilever, BrandTech Group and Campari amongst others.

Previously Nima was Managing Director at Braw Haus; a Web3 consultancy with clients such as Nike, Adidas, Hogan, Kenzo and Ferrari.

In 2007, Nima founded one of the first Web2 agencies working with international fashion and luxury brands including Veuve Clicquot, Bentley, Oscar de la Renta, Soho House Group and Tom Ford. The agency was sold in 2014.

Nima qualified as a lawyer in the UK and continued his career as a Management Consultant at Price Waterhouse.

Marc Beckman is the CEO of DMA United, a NYC-based advertising agency.  Beckman’s clients include Pepsi, Sony Music, Warner Bros Entertainment, Karl Lagerfeld, NBA, and Nelson Mandela.

Mr. Beckman is the bestselling author of The Comprehensive Guide: NFTs, Digital Artwork, Blockchain Technology, and serves as New York University’s Senior Fellow of Emerging Technologies.

Mr. Beckman’s new talk-show, Some Future Day, is available on all major media platforms worldwide, including YouTube, Apple, Spotify, Google, and Amazon.

Jacob is the founder and CEO of MARCo Health - the world's leading company in affordable and accessible mental health care through compassionate social robots. Jacob founded MARCo Health in 2018 after years of struggling with his own mental health and seeing close friends and family members struggle to get care. Leveraging his 8 years of experience in advanced robotics and 4 years in medical devices, Jacob developed "MARCo: the Mental-Health Assisting Robot Companion" from scratch and brought it from a dorm-room prototype to a globally recognized, cutting edge mental health support tool worldwide.

Prior to founding MARCo Health, Jacob led a team of engineers at the military robotics startup GuardBot Inc. and John Hopkins' Applied Physics Laboratory in developing an advanced amphibious explosives ordinance and disposal robotics system for the US Navy's AEDORS initiative. He's also a published biotechnology researcher, accredited psychiatry and AI speaker, and has spearheaded the 510(k) applications of numerous medical devices in the physical and nuclear medicine spaces.

Senior Director of Global Consumer Marketing and Strategy for Commerce at Google

Stephanie Horton is a leading c-suite executive of the global luxury and fashion industry. A 30- year veteran of the luxury fashion and marketing communities, Stephanie has developed and executed creative strategy and marketing solutions for both domestic and international brands. She is currently a Senior Director of Global Consumer Marketing and Strategy for Commerce at Google where she leads the Global B2C Marketing teams helping to shape and drive the vision and strategy for Google Shopping and Payments. Prior to Google, Stephanie held positions as Chief Executive Officer at Hemp Tailor, Chief Executive Officer at Alexander Wang, Chief Marketing Officer at Farfetch and senior level positions at Shopbop, American Vogue and The New York Times.

Stephanie currently serves on The Advisory Boards of NYU Stern Fashion/Luxury MBA, The Black in Fashion Council and McMullen Boutique. She serves as a Senior Advisor for Three Hills Capital Partners and has board seats on two of their core investments FaceGym and Tomorrow, and The Board of Directors for NeueHouse. In her role on these boards, she has provided strategic guidance and oversight to help drive corporate strategy and ensure forward momentum.

Stephanie is a passionate advocate for women in the workplace. She is Co-Founder of the organization Fashion Tech Connects, which connects female college students of color with Fashion and tech internships. She is also a frequent speaker on the topics of women in business, emerging technology and brand authenticity and e-commerce and retail trends. Stephanie has lived and worked in London and Shanghai and currently resides in New York.

As a digital native, Subham grew up navigating virtual worlds and metaverses for over 15 years. Nir Kaldero has since 2021 served as the Chief Data, Analytics, & AI Officer at NEORIS. He is the authors of the best-selling book Data Science for Executives, and is one of the leading influencers in the world of high-impact executives in the C-Suite, with knowledge on how to transform organizations into solid corporations based on data models.

He was previously Executive Vice President of Data Science and Engineering at Galvanize Inc. (now Stride). He created and chaired the first Master of Science in Data Science (MSDS) program in the United States and managed his own data science consulting practice in Silicon Valley.

Jen Premisler is the Senior Vice President, Global Digital and Fintech Commercialization at Mastercard. In her role she leads pricing & economics for the Product and Engineering organization as well as representing the Fintech Segment globally- internally and externally. Jen began her career at Mastercard as a corporate and finance attorney and has held roles of increasing responsibility in strategy, operations, and product.

When not thinking about interesting segments such as fintechs, gaming, digital marketplaces, subscriptions and more, Jen can be found on the ski slopes with her family and dogs or participating in various community service initiatives.

Jen is a graduate of New York Law School and the University of Colorado at Boulder and prior to joining Mastercard, she was an associate at the law firm Clifford Chance.

With more than 20 years of experience scaling startups and building technology companies in the digital and mobile ecosystem, Steven Rosenblatt co-founded Oceans, a new kind of venture capital firm, in 2018 where he currently serves as General Partner.

Steven has been passionate about building early stage companies and has finally fulfilled his life long goal of starting his own company. Prior to Oceans, Steven was President of Foursquare. During his six-year tenure at the location intelligence company, he was responsible for transitioning the company from a purely consumer- facing location platform into an enterprise business, building a multi-product strategy and growing revenue by more than 70x. This entailed overseeing all aspects of strategy and implementation of the company’s revenue streams along with overseeing its biggest customers. During his time, Foursquare won numerous awards, including being named in CNBC’s Disruptor 50 list as one of the most disruptive tech companies in the world, Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 as one of the fastest growing technology companies in North America, and won Ad Age’s Best Places to work. Steven worked closely with his investors, including Andreessen Horowitz, Union Square Ventures, DFJ, and Spark Capital, and has spoken at nearly 100 events.

Before joining Foursquare, Steven launched iAd, Apple’s advertising platform for brands and developers, where he managed sales, agency relations, and the creative and strategy team. Steven led the opening of Apple’s New York office and worked closely with leadership teams to build a presence in New York. Prior to this, Steven served as Senior Vice President of Advertising Sales at Quattro Wireless until it was acquired by Apple in January 2010. He is a proud graduate of the University of Michigan.

Clyde Vanel

New York State Assemblymember

Assemblyman Clyde Vanel serves as the Chair of the Subcommittee on Internet and New Technology and Chairs the Committee on Oversight, Analysis and Investigation. He has sponsored numerous landmark bills, such as legislation to create a robotics, automation and artificial intelligence commission; license high-risk AI systems; and create a cryptocurrency and blockchain study task force. He is focused on emerging technologies and works to close the digital divide among marginalized communities.

Vanel is an attorney, entrepreneur, and pilot from Queens. He is the owner and operator of Vanel Law Firm, P.C., where he practices intellectual property and business law. Vanel is also an internet entrepreneur operating TrademarkReady.com, a service focused on trademark filings and intellectual property protection. Vanel works to expose the next generation to STEM careers.

Serving as the Assembly Member for the 33rd District of New York since November 8, 2016, his district includes Cambria Heights, St. Albans, Hollis, Queens Village, Bellerose, and parts of Floral Park. Vanel was raised in Cambria Heights, New York, with nine siblings, Vanel is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

James Villarrubia

CTO, Applied AI Expert, Presidential Innovation Fellow at NASA

James is an accomplished CTO and applied A.I. expert.  He currently serves as the Presidential Innovation Fellow for NASA Aeronautics, helping develop sustainable, next-generation aviation and artificial intelligence solutions. On behalf of NASA, he also co-hosts the Ecosystemic Futures podcast. Prior to his work at NASA, James served as an executive and advisor for several social impact startups in healthcare, cryptography, workplace equity, and online education. His educational A.I. company was a semi-finalist in the global IBM A.I. X-Prize Competition. Before his startup journey, James spent 6 years in DC serving in policy and portfolio management roles at the White House, DOJ, and DOD. James holds several patents in cryptography, a Master's in Public Policy, and a BS in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia. He is currently completing his MBA at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
