NYU SPS To Host the Fourth Annual NYU Coaching & Technology Summit on July 7-8 in New York City
NEW YORK, NY – June 24, 2025 – The NYU School of Professional Studies Division of Programs will host the Fourth Annual NYU Coaching & Technology Summit at the NYU Kimmel Center for University Life on July 7–8. This year’s event will bring together global leaders from business, academia, and innovation to examine the evolving role of coaching and technology in the workplace.
The 2025 Summit will feature over 50 distinguished speakers, including founders of pioneering coaching firms, top HR executives, AI researchers, health and wellbeing experts, and credentialing authorities. With a strong focus on AI integration, employee wellbeing, and inclusive coaching strategies, the program aims to provide actionable insights for shaping the next generation of workplace culture.
“The Summit is a platform where the coaching profession intersects with innovation and organizational transformation,” said Anna Tavis, NYU SPS clinical professor, department chair of the NYU SPS DPB Human Capital Management Department and event chair. “We are proud to convene thought leaders who are redefining how coaching can drive human and organizational potential.”

Day 1: Monday, July 7, 2025:
- AI & Coaching: A fireside chat with Manuela Veloso, PhD, Head of AI Research at JP Morgan Chase & Co.
- CEO Roundtable: Visionaries from Valence, AIIR Consulting, Optify, and Bravely discuss the next wave of coaching innovation.
- Executive Insights: Senior leaders from IBM, Prudential, LVMH, and Apollo share their strategies for leveraging coaching at scale.
- Social Impact: Programs that extend coaching to veterans, underserved populations, and volunteer-driven initiatives.
Day 2: Tuesday, July 8, 2025:
- Wellbeing and Leadership: Fireside chat with Matthew Breitfelder (Apollo) and Danny Shea (Thrive Global).
- Keynote Session: Martin E.P. Seligman, PhD, Director of the Positive Psychology Center at the University of Pennsylvania.
- Scientific Foundations: Research-led sessions with experts from BetterUp, ICF, Coach AI, and global universities.
- Health & Wellness Coaching: Panels exploring scalable coaching models in healthcare and wellbeing, featuring leaders from Headspace, Lyra Health, Shimmer, and the Mayo Clinic.
The Summit will also include technology demonstrations, emerging solutions showcases, and networking opportunities for industry professionals.
