NYU School of Professional Studies MS In Public Relations & Corporate Communication Once Again Named to the Annual PRNews Education A-List

New York, NY, November 17, 2022 – The NYU School of Professional Studies (NYU SPS) MS in Public Relations and Corporate Communication (PRCC) was recently named again to the annual PRNews Education A-List, which recognizes the best higher education institutions for career advancement in PR and Marketing Communications.

The 2023 award winners are chosen through a competitive process that examines not only the depth and breadth of the curriculum offerings but also seeks to reward programs continually adapting to the rapidly changing world of communications and continuing as thought leaders in the profession. The PRNews board of judges also strives to select programs whose curriculum combines classroom learning with practical experience in the real world. This combination is a hallmark of NYU’s PRCC program.

The faculty members who comprise the PRCC program also contributed significantly to NYU’s selection for this award. PRNews puts a considerable emphasis on the quality of a university’s faculty–taking into consideration the faculty’s years of teaching experience, professional experience, diversity, and contributions to current PR dialogue and thought leadership.

“We are honored that our MS degree in Public Relations and Corporate Communication has been selected for the PR News Education A-List for the second year in a row. It reflects our commitment to being the leader in developing professionals in the industry and providing them with an exceptional educational experience at the intersection of academia, industry, and media with a curriculum that is both human-centered and data-driven,” said Bahriye Goren, clinical associate professor and interim academic director, integrated marketing and communications, NYU SPS Division of Programs in Business (DPB).

This honor adds to the growing list of accolades for the PRCC program. In addition to being named to PRNews’s Education A-List for both 2022 and 2023, the program was selected Outstanding Education Program of 2021 by PRWeek.

"Our graduate and continuing education programs at NYU SPS are unique in their applied professional nature, leveraging the academic rigor of a leading university to the industry functions we serve. This creates a powerful environment for our students to achieve their personal and professional goals,” noted Martin Ihrig, associate dean, NYU SPS DPB.
