New York, NY, August 26, 2020—As one of the premier conferences in the world, the Annual NYU International Hospitality Industry Investment Conference is always a highly anticipated event that convenes thought leaders from across the US and around the globe. Due to COVID-19, the Conference, which normally takes place at the New York Marriott Marquis each year in June, was rescheduled as an on-site event to be held on November 11-12, 2020.
After deep and thoughtful discussion among the members of the Conference’s Executive Planning Committee, the on-site event planned for November 11-12 will be cancelled and replaced by a webinar series.
New Webinar Format
Rather than risk the health and the well-being of panelists, attendees, organizers and, in turn, their family members, the Committee has opted to produce a series of online webinars that will take place the week of November 9, 2020. Attendance will be free of charge to members of the hospitality and tourism industries, as well as to members of the press.
Similar to the highly successful “CEOs Check In” virtual panel discussion that the Committee produced and aired this past June, which was moderated by Conference Chairman Jonathan M. Tisch, chairman and CEO of Loews Hotels & Co. and co-chairman of the Board of Loews Corporation, the November webinar series will bring the best of the world-renowned NYU Hospitality Conference to an even larger audience, and will do so at a time that is critical for members of the industry to gain the latest information on trends and forecasts from the best in the business.
