Virtual Career Services

Career Coaching

Partner with a career coach on a customized action plan during a 15- or 30-minute appointment. Morning and evening appointments in Eastern time are available to accommodate alternative schedules. A limited number of in-person appointments are offered at 7 East 12th St.

Career Perspectives in a COVID-19 Market: Public/Private Partnerships & Capacity Building 

Tuesday, September 15th 2020, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

The NYUSPS Wasserman Center for Career Development, the NYUSPS Center for Global Affairs and the Student Association for Global Affairs (SAGA) have organized two virtual networking events this September. The sessions, on Sept 15 & Sept 29, will consist of a short panel followed by three, 15-minute breakout sessions for students to virtually network with the speakers in small groups.

Job Skills to Succeed in a Post-Coronavirus World 

Monday, September 21st 2020, 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

In this session, experts will unpack three job skills that are likely to be in high demand in a post-coronavirus world: creativity & innovation; adaptability & flexibility; and emotional intelligence & leadership. Learn key concepts of each and ways to apply them in the classroom or at your job/internship to position yourself for success. Speakers include Mark Garcia (Vice President/Creative Director at Majestyk Apps), Josh Tecchio (Senior Vice President, Transformative Leadership at AlixPartners), and Beth Wade (Consulting Manager, Talent & Organizations at Accenture). This session is hosted as part of Virtual Career Week.
