Oscar Dystel Fellowship

The Oscar Dystel Fellowship is presented to an outstanding M.S. in Publishing: Digital and Print Media student whose studies and career path show a demonstrable commitment to the book publishing industry. In addition, one or more finalists may be given Honorary Scholarships as part of this distinguished award program. Awards are for tuition only and may be applied exclusively toward remaining credits in the program.

 

This scholarship is named for the late Oscar Dystel, a legendary leader in the book publishing industry and former CEO and Chairman of Bantam Books. His desire was to provide recognition and tuition support to highly qualified M.S. in Publishing: Digital and Print Media students who are not only dedicated to careers in book publishing, but also show future leadership potential in the industry.

Scholarship Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated commitment to the book publishing industry.
  • Maintain a GPA of 3.5

Scholarship Amount

$7,000

Eligibility Requirements

  • MS in Publishing student
  • Minimum 3.5 GPA
  • Minimum one semester completed
  • Registered for 9 credits or more in the upcoming academic year
