MS in Public Relations and Corporate Communication Curriculum


CORE CURRICULUM: Core public relations and corporate communication courses serve to hone your public relations writing skills, ground you in the latest social media strategies, and build your research capabilities,  In addition, they provide a strong foundation in communications ethics, law, and regulations. The practicum course consists of in-depth work on a case study in PR and/or corporate communication. The capstone course is your final project, marking the culmination of your master’s degree studies.

CONCENTRATIONS: Concentrations in Public Relations Management and Corporate and Organizational Communication build upon the core curriculum and provide deeply specialized knowledge in your area of interest. Please see concentration pages for full details on study options.


The degree is a 42-credit program consisting of a required set of core courses (21-credits) and the selected concentration (21-credits).


MS in Public Relations and Corporate Communciation concentrations build the PR and communication skills that enhance your résumé and increase your career options. Choose from one of two degree concentrations.
