Mark Yarish, Assistant Professor in the Department of Management & Information Technology at St. Francis College, seamlessly blends academic excellence with a wealth of industry experience. Armed with a bachelor's degree in Geography and Environmental Science from the University of Connecticut and a master's in Management Information Systems from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Mark initially applied his skills in large data sets and computer algorithms at Gateway Computer Corporation. His journey extended to the International Investment Banking Sector before he dedicated himself to education through the City University of New York Teaching Opportunity Scholarship Program. Holding a master’s degree in teaching science, Mark significantly contributed to curriculum development in New York City. Currently an adjunct faculty member, he imparts his expertise in a range of areas, teaching classes such as Introduction to Entrepreneurship, Information Technology, Spreadsheet Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Mining, and Predictive Analytics. Mark's distinctive blend of academic rigor and practical industry knowledge enriches the educational experience for his students.
