Ben Frumin has been Wirecutter’s Editor-in-Chief since January 2019, leading the 115-person editorial team behind the best and most beloved product recommendation service in the country. Prior to Wirecutter, he was the editor-in-chief of TheWeek.com for more than six years, building one of the country’s premier digital destinations for sophisticated opinion journalism from across the ideological spectrum. Previously, Ben worked as a senior editor at Talking Points Memo, as an adjunct professor at Columbia Journalism School, a magazine writer and editor, and a newspaper reporter. His work has been published in the San Francisco Chronicle, CNN, Reuters, Columbia Journalism Review, the New York Post, and The Forward. He earned bachelor's degrees in political science and psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia.
