Joseph Silver

Joe is Product Manager at NineDot Energy, where he works on deploying new clean energy infrastructure in dense urban environments. Prior to joining NineDot, Joe was a Sr. Specialist of Non-Pipeline Solutions at Con Edison where he worked on designing and launching programs targeting the elimination of leak-prone gas mains via whole building electrification. He was Director of Programs at the Urban Future Lab at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering where he supported early stage cleantech startups through business development support, access to investment capital, and direct mentorship. He helped launch the region's first hydrogen technology accelerator in partnership with Greentown Labs and Fraunhofer Institute. Joe is a volunteer advisor for high school sustainability curriculum at the non-profit Working in Support of Education and a Mentorship Director for the YPE NYC Mentorship program supporting NYC-based college students seeking a career in clean energy. Joe holds a BA in Environmental Science from New York University and an MS in Urban Sustainability from the City College of New York.
