As Executive Vice President, Research & Measurement at iHeartMedia, David is responsible for leading all aspects of research and analytics for America’s #1 Audio Company. David works across iHeartMedia’s diverse assets including radio, streaming audio, podcasting, and live events, to deliver customized research, measurement, and optimization solutions to support iHeart’s National and Local clients and their partner agencies.

David’s expertise in understanding consumer behavior, and his knowledge of the diverse and rapidly changing media marketplace, advanced analytics and advertising effectiveness is instrumental in serving the needs of his clients and shaping new solutions for audio research.

Prior to joining iHeartMedia in 2016, David spent over 15 years on the media agency side, working at Publicis Media agencies in both Canada and the U.S., most recently as EVP Research & Analytics at MediaVest (now SparkFoundry).  David also spent time leading Agency Sales at comscore, where he oversaw both syndicated and custom data and measurement sales for the company.

David is also an Adjunct Professor at New York University where he teaches Campaign Objectives & Strategies: Marketing Research and Data Applications, a course that is part of the NYU/Advertising Research Foundation Certificate in Marketing Optimization & Insights Program.

David holds a M.A. in Communication Management from the Annenberg School of Communication, University of Southern California, and resides in NJ with his daughter, son and two dogs.
