Peter Wrampe has extensive expertise in Global and Domestic Sales and Marketing, Marketing Management, Business Development, and General Management of proprietary industrial applications products, systems, and services to the Heavy Industry. His sales and management experience are accompanied by a solid track record of building, organizing, and leading highly successful, results-driven, multifunctional, multicultural marketing teams.

Mr. Wrampe has held senior-level Sales, Marketing, and General Management positions with Praxair Inc. (now Linde plc), where he grew businesses in Asia, Europe, and South America.

During his international career at Praxair Inc., he focused on international business development. He worked on an in-country level, consulting with potential customers on the benefits of applying industrial gases to their production operations to improve productivity and quality, minimize environmental impact, and use alternative energies or reduce energy consumption. Before retirement, Mr. Wrampe served as Director, New Bulk Business Market Development, Western Europe.

He has been teaching Statistics and Finance at NYU since 2013. Before that date, he taught International Business and Statistics at Albertus Magnus College.

Mr. Wrampe holds advanced degrees in Chemical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and an MBA from Pace University. He holds language certification from IBEU (Instituto Brasil-Estados Unidos) and Global Business Leader certification from the International Executive Resources Group – IERG.  

 He is a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers and the Verein Deutscher Ingenieure. He is a former member of the American Institute of Metallurgical Engineers and the Verein Deutscher Eisenhüttenleute and a former Treasurer of the International Resources Group. He resided in Belgium, Brazil, China, Germany, and Singapore, is fluent in German and Portuguese and has a working knowledge of French, Italian, and Spanish.

Mr. Wrampe published or presented 15 papers internationally on various technologies in a broad range of industry segments for energy, environmental, productivity, and quality improvements. He holds two patents in the combustion field.
