Bill Healey joined the SPS faculty during the 2006-2007 academic year. He teaches both the Practicum and Government Affairs courses in the program. He also has served as a Capstone advisor since 2012.
Professor Healey is a lifelong government affair and advocacy professional. Currently, his "day job" is with the New Jersey Alliance for Action, a business/labor coalition devoted to promotion of infrastructure. He has also served in executive management positions and as a chief lobbyist with the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce and the HealthCare Institute of New Jersey. He has also served in the administration of a New Jersey governor (Christine Todd Whitman) and on the staff of a New Jersey member of Congress (Jim Courter).
Professor Healey is a lifelong New Jersey resident and he and his wife Christine were married in 1983.
