Richard Lambeck P.E. teaches courses in Construction Methods and Technology and Management of On-Site Construction Operations within the M.S. in Construction Management program. In addition he teaches courses in the non degree program and participates in the week long Summer Institute, giving seminars on construction related topics. He provides special seminars to the graduate students in Understanding Construction Documents and Cost Estimating for the Development students. Establishes Breakfast seminars with construction industry leaders in discussing relevant construction topics. Is a member of the graduate Construction Management Advisory Board committee.  Mr. Lambeck has received the School of Professional Studies Award for Teaching Excellence and Award for Outstanding Service.

 He is the co-author of a book on construction management, Urban Construction Project Management (McGraw Hill 2008).

Mr. Lambeck earned a B.S. in Civil Engineering degree from Lafayette College and a M.S. in Civil Engineering from New York University.  He is a licensed professional engineer in New York State.

A member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and is a faculty adviser for the student chapter of the Construction Management Group. A member of the 34th Street Partnership Construction Committee and a neutral for the American Arbitration Association and was the editor for articles that were published for the American Society of Civil Engineers on Alternative Dispute Resolution for the Construction Industry.

Before coming to NYU, Mr. Lambeck worked for more than 45 years in a variety of senior construction management and real estate development positions. Professor Lambeck is the principal of RL Project Management, where he consultants on numerous construction projects
