Vince Gennaro, MBA

Vince Gennaro is the associate dean of the Preston Robert Tisch Institute for Global Sport. He is a recognized authority on sports business and sports analytics, as the author of Diamond Dollars: The Economics of Winning in Baseball, a consultant to Major League Baseball teams, and the host of a weekly national radio show, Behind the Numbers: Baseball SABR Style, on SiriusXM radio. Prior to his academic work, Gennaro spent more than two decades in leadership at PepsiCo, including as president of Pepsi’s Fountain Beverage Division, and also owned a pro sports franchise. His innovative analysis of the business of sports and sports analytics has been the subject of articles in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and CNN Money. Gennaro serves on the Advisory Board of The Perfect Game Foundation, and is the former president of the Board of Directors of the Society for American Baseball Research (SABR). He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago—Booth and a BA from Seton Hall University.

Daniel G. Kelly II, PhD

Daniel G. Kelly II is the academic director of Graduate Programs and clinical assistant professor at the Tisch Institute for Global Sport. Previously, he was the faculty director and associate professor of the Practice for the Sports Industry Management Program at Georgetown University. Additionally, Kelly was the associate professor and director of Sport Management at Wilmington College, and has taught at DeSales University. In addition to his academic pursuits, he has consulted on strategic leadership and global business initiatives with FC Barcelona’s Barca Innovation Hub, River Plate University Institute (Argentina) and Superliga (Argentina). Kelly also served as the academic lead for the Josoor Institute’s Football and Sport Management diploma program in preparation for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. He has worked on recruiting events and affiliate associations with leading sports organizations in the United States, and currently serves on the Board of Commissioners for the Commission on Sport Management Accreditation (COSMA). Kelly holds a PhD in Sport Management from The Ohio State University and an MS in Sport Studies and BS in Business Management from the Richard T. Farmer School of Business at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
