As Associate Director of Programs, Miguel is responsible for Continuing Education programming in Filmmaking; Film & TV Producing; Copyediting, Proofreading and Fact-Checking; 3D Product Design; and Visual Effects. He also oversees Language Proficiency Testing. Before joining CALA in 2018, Miguel held roles in other NYUSPS departments including Information Technology, Institutional Research & Analytics, and the Division of Applied Undergraduate Studies. He is a graduate of the inaugural 2017-2018 NYU Management Fellows Program, and a leadership development coach with Momentum Education. Additionally, he is on the diversity and inclusion committee of UPCEA: Association for Professional, Continuing, & Online Education, serves as Vice Chair, Diversity & Inclusion in UPCEA's Community and Economic Engagement Network (CEE); and sits on the board of directors of TOUCH-Together Our Unity Can Heal. Miguel has a B.A. in Social Sciences and an M.S. in Global Affairs from NYU SPS.
