Included in the Spring 2020 NYUSPS Student Newsletter, Kristine Rodriguez Kerr, EdD, joined a school-wide faculty panel to discuss the ingenuity and expertise of students and faculty in adapting to remote instruction during the semester.
As Academic Director and Clinical Assistant Professor of the fully online MS in Professional Writing, Rodriguez Kerr shared insights on supporting sustained online learning and fostering community across distances. “What we saw,” Rodriguez Kerr states in the recorded clip, “was a deepening of the connections that were happening in the online space that grew from an acknowledgement of the social disruptions that were happening in our students’ physical lives.”
