A recent report from US News & World Report ranked Interpreters and Translators #1 in Best Creative and Media Jobs in 2021. Between 2019 and 2029, the Bureau of Labor Statistics projects an estimated 15,500 job openings, a 20% employment increase. “As diversity in the U.S. increases and globalization continues at a breakneck pace, so will the demand for spoken-language interpreters. [...] Interpreters and translators enjoy highly flexible schedules, particularly those working on a freelance basis.”
