David has been a teacher of Python and Perl at NYU SPS for over 15 years.  He has been a Release Engineer at Google and DoubleClick, a Software Developer at Conde Nast Magazines and AppNexus, and has taught Python at Google, Bloomberg and for the U.S. Navy.  His recent title Python Beyond the Basics -- Object Oriented Programming was published last year by O'Reilly.
