Dan has worked in organizational environments of every scale, including rapidly growing technology startups, large matrixed enterprises, mission-driven public institutions, and legacy companies undergoing major digital transformation and modernization. This breadth of experience shapes his belief that well-designed operating models can bring direction and momentum to even the most dynamic environments. His approach as an operator centers on establishing clear accountability, purposeful decision-making pathways, adaptable approaches, and thoughtful organizational design—elements he believes can strengthen teams at any stage of maturity.
At NYU, Dan teaches Operations Strategy. His course blends established management frameworks with practical case studies, narrative examples, and applied problem solving to give students a toolkit they can use across industries. Dan previously taught Digital Marketing at the University of Toronto, where he helped students connect strategy, creativity, and execution. Across both institutions, his teaching emphasizes practical judgment and an understanding of how operational choices influence long-term outcomes.
Dan holds an MBA from Cornell University’s Samuel Curtis Johnson Graduate School of Management and a BAH in Film and Media Studies from Queen’s University.
