Lauren Glover is an Adjunct Instructor in the Master’s of Professional Writing program at SPS.
In her life outside academia, Lauren is a communications strategist working in tech, media, and the arts. Most recently, she was the Managing Director at Blue Seedling, a marketing agency working with fast-growing enterprise B2B startups. Prior to Blue Seedling, Lauren worked in the nonprofit and arts education worlds, notably for the children’s media powerhouse Story Pirates, where she held a variety of roles, including associate producer of the chart-topping Story Pirates Podcast.
Lauren has been a teacher and mentor to writers and public speakers for over 15 years. She is a Lecturer at the Columbia University School of Professional Studies, where she teaches graduate courses in business writing, public speaking, and strategic storytelling. At Columbia, she has also facilitated the Pedagogical Lab, a pedagogy training program for her fellow instructors. She holds a B.A. in English Literature from Barnard College and an M.S. in Strategic Communications from Columbia University.
