Alexandra M. Merceron is a communications executive with more than 20 years of experience helping organizations manage their reputation and meaningfully engage with audiences. Currently, she is the Executive Vice President of Insights at Rubenstein Communications, where she leads a broad portfolio of strategy, analytics, staff education, and AI transformation initiatives for the agency.
Alexandra is also an award-winning educator with 15 years of experience creating and teaching graduate courses in public relations, digital communication strategy, executive communication and integrated communications planning at New York University, Columbia University, University of Colorado-Boulder, Wake Forest University, Georgetown University and Johns Hopkins University, among other institutions.
A sought-after expert on the intersection of emerging media and communication technologies and strategic storytelling, Alex’s research has been published in academic journals and her forthcoming book Ethical AI for Strategic Communication.
Alex holds a BA in English and Business from Pace University and MA in Integrated
Marketing Communication from Emerson College.
