
Greg Coverdale brings over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, focusing on empowering individuals and communities to achieve f inancial goals and enhance economic well-being. He currently serves as the director of the CFP Board Registered Financial Planning Program and the Financial Literacy Institute at Delaware State University, overseeing the design and implementation of curricula that prepare students for CFP certification and careers in financial planning.
In his role as an adjunct professor at New York University, Greg teaches financial concepts to students using engaging and accessible methods. He is committed to mentoring aspiring financial professionals and facilitating pathways to opportunities in the financial sector.
As an advocate for fiscal policy reform and financial literacy in education, Greg has contributed to initiatives aimed at improving financial education in schools, leveraging his experience on the State Board of Education in Delaware. In 2022, he ran for the position of State Treasurer in Delaware, campaigning on principles of fiscal responsibility, accountability, and the promotion of financial education in schools, achieving a close margin in the election. He has been recognized as one of the 40 Under 40 alumni by Delaware State University for his contributions to professional and community service.
