D. P. Snyder is a writer, literary critic, and translator from Spanish. In addition to writing and teaching work, she investigates collaborative praxes in literary translation and the impact of artificial intelligence on linguistic and publishing ecosystems. In the 1990s, she co-directed the Latin American Workshop in New York City and coordinated the nonprofit's cultural event programming. She taught Medical Spanish at Einstein College of Medicine and designed the first synchronous online Spanish course for The New School. She serves on the editorial board of Reading in Translation at Oberlin College, is the Spanish translations editor at Exile Quarterly (Canada), and is a fellow at The Hermitage Artist Retreat in Englewood, Florida.
