Chrysostomos Giannoulakis is a sport management academic and practitioner with more than 20 years of experience managing and teaching sport internationally. He has worked in major sporting events worldwide including the Athens 2004 Olympic Games, the Special Olympics World Summer and Winter Games, and the ESPN X-Games. Chrysostomos’ research agenda focuses on sport volunteer management and sport-for development, while utilizing sport as a vehicle for social change and intercommunity development. He is an avid believer of the essence of education through meaningful interactions that support cultivation of lifelong knowledge, values, and virtues for his students.
