Barry Murdaco
Barry Murdaco is an Adjunct Instructor at the NYU School of Professional Studies. His work focuses on U.S.–China relations, with particular attention to political economy, trade conflict, and the ideological and institutional dynamics shaping contemporary protectionism.
He holds a PhD in Political Science from the CUNY Graduate Center. His research engages critical political economy to examine global capitalism, state power, and international economic rivalry. His work has appeared in Science & Society and in the online section of Monthly Review.
Dr. Murdaco is the author of the forthcoming book Trade Wars Across the Pacific: The Spectacle of U.S. Protectionism Towards China and Japan (SUNY Press).
