Michaela Boruta is a Senior Executive and Entrepreneur with more than 16 years of experience in event planning and education. Leveraging extensive experience in producing meaningful events and programs for domestic and international companies, her event planning company delivers brand messaging to all sizes of companies seeking greater growth and profitability on the global stage.
As Founder and President of Boruta Consulting, LLC, Michaela oversees business logistics for an event-planning firm specializing in the creative management, planning, production, execution, venue sourcing & management, materials procurement, and negotiation of high-profile functions which include conferences, galas, expos, art fairs, expos and product launches. As Co- Founder of The Asia Art Fair, NY, Michaela managed operations and communications for a five- day, three-floor art event featuring numerous programs and activities, as well as curating and exhibiting artwork from 25-30 prestigious galleries. During her tenure as Director of Events at the Bohemian National Hall, she generated unprecedented business results, enabling her clients to gain a competitive advantage. She was instrumental in delivering successful events for–profit and non-profit companies and organizations. Since 2020, Michaela has been teaching the Facilities and Venue Management class in the Event Management MS program at the NYU Jonathan M. Tisch Center of Hospitality.
Michaela holds an MA in English and Arabic Language and Culture from Comenius University Slovakia, a certification in Foreign Languages: Middle Eastern and Arabic from NYU, School of Professional Studies, and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute.
