After earning a master’s in architecture focused on resilient infrastructure in New Orleans, Michael co-founded and grew a consulting engineering firm to 50 staff from the ground up. He has since advised public and private institutions as an owner’s representative and served as a trusted local expert for global engineering and management firms expanding into North America. Instrumental in strengthening organizational cultures, he has helped deliver some of New York City’s most complex infrastructure initiatives and build strong reputations for sustainable, resilient planning.
An expert at leading multi-disciplinary teams, Michael has overseen critical infrastructure programs at all scales, with responsibility for projects exceeding $2B. He is experienced in every phase of capital planning, design, construction, and asset management, and is skilled at navigating multi-jurisdictional challenges. Proficient in LEAN design, progressive procurement, and innovative construction logistics, he has accelerated schedules and improved outcomes on major transportation redevelopments (World Trade Center), institutional master plans (Manhattanville West Harlem), and coastal resiliency programs (Brooklyn Navy Yard). He remains committed to safety, operational efficiency, and community stewardship, consistently developing closed-loop strategies and long-term partnerships to support resilient, sustainable results.
