Bruno Eeckels is a clinical associate professor of hospitality finance within the NYUSPS Jonathan M. Tisch Center of Hospitality. Since 2022, he serves as academic director for the graduate programs. Fluent in French, and Greek, Bruno earned a PhD in finance from Bournemouth University in the UK in 2013.
With research interests in hospitality finance, tourism economics, and forecasting, Bruno has coauthored several articles in refereed journals, including in the Journal of Travel Research, Tourism Management, Annals of Tourism Research, Applied Economics, Tourism Economics, and the Journal of Forecasting, among others.
Bruno has taught extensively since 2000. In 2017, he was a visiting research fellow at Bournemouth University in the UK. Previously, he served as associate professor of finance at Les Roches Global Hospitality Education in Bluche, Switzerland, where he taught undergraduate and graduate students financial management and decision making, investment strategies, and data analysis. From 2010–2016, he was the dean of graduate studies at Les Roches.
