Dan Lombardi started his career as a copywriter in traditional fashion, as a copywriter at the Leo Burnett company in Chicago. He soon moved to New York where he worked in consumer advertising for much of his career at agencies Saatchi & Saatchi and DDB. Today he continues his creative career as a creative director with Omnicom.
Dan began teaching in 2018 at the NYU School of Professional Studies, where his Writing Across Media has been a staple in the Media Certificate Program. He has also served an adjunct professor of practice at the Newhouse School of Syracuse, teaching both undergraduate and graduate classes in creative advertising.
