Sonia Chopra

Sonia is a Certified Public Accountant who has worked in accounting for 20+ years, in areas spanning public accounting, transaction advisory (mergers and acquisitions), initial public offering advisory and teaching, both at the university level and for corporate executives. Sonia, an avid traveler who enjoys learning about different cultures and celebrating the uniqueness of each, completed a degree in educational psychology, where she focused on multicultural education and completed her thesis in multicultural counseling. Having worked with students abroad, Sonia strives to understand and celebrate students’ different styles of learning, based not just on individual preferences but also on cultural influences, with the belief that all students can learn from each other immensely!

Sonia has been with SPS for ten years and looks forward each semester to learning something new from her students.
