Bin Liu is a professional translator and an ATA certified member. He learned English at Wuhan Foreign Languages School and went to Beijing Foreign Languages Institute for undergraduate and graduate studies. He worked for the university’s translation journal for 4 years. He later came to the U.S. and earned an MA in English from Loyola University Chicago and an MA in Comparative Literature from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His post-graduation work experiences include translating for Walmart, United Nations, and private companies. He now runs his small business in multilanguage translation and Desktop Publishing. He’s also been teaching translation at NYU since 2015. He enjoys the art of his profession and is very passionate about sharing his experiences.
