Deon Gibson is a Caribbean-American Economist with over 15 years of experience teaching and mentorship in Academia. He is an Adjunct Assistant Professor and a Labor Economist with research interests that primarily focus on the economic and social impact of bargaining power on the experiences of workers within the market system. Dr. Gibson has several publications that reflect his specific interests including “Causes of the Decline of the US Wage Share 1960-2015” published in April 2020 and most recently “The Triple Day Thesis versus Neoclassical Models of Labor Supply: Alternative Perspective and Policies” in 2024.
