Lavinel Savu is Head of Amazon Brand Innovation Lab. In this role, he leads a team of creatives and strategists to create custom campaigns for Amazon's largest global clients, including Mastercard, Disney, and GEICO. Previously, Lavinel served as Head of Content & Editorial at Amazon Fashion, steering omnichannel content strategy across the division’s marketing programs and Web3 initiatives. Prior to joining Amazon, he held executive management and leadership roles at the 4 largest publishers in America—Dotdash Meredith, Meredith, Time Inc., and Hearst—launching, directing and scaling category-defining consumer brands, including InStyle, Real Simple, Cosmopolitan, and O, The Oprah Magazine. A native New Yorker, Lavinel studied French Lit at Columbia University and earned both his MS in Publishing and MBA in Marketing from NYU.
