Paul Acquaro is an Information Technology professional with a Doctorate in Instructional Technology with a focus on online learning from Teachers College, Columbia University. His professional experience has covered a wide range of disciplines and fields, which he has combined in myriad ways. Paul has worked in project and personnel management, full-stack web development, user experience design, content management systems, learning management systems, as well as being engaged with corporate training. He is also deeply involved with curriculum development and evolving teaching methods through university teaching. Paul has been teaching at New York University since 2012 (and for little while in the mid-2000s), developing and facilitating both undergraduate and graduate courses in database development, web technologies, cyber security, and project development. Some of Paul's current work is in developing research with a colleague in SPS to see how generative AI can be used to support and challenge learners in Real-World projects in the classroom.
