<p><span class="p-body">From a young age, Oliva knew she wanted to attend NYU. The allure of a city campus, plus the university's prestige made it her dream school as early as middle school. Oliva recognized that NYU would open doors to countless opportunities, regardless of the career path she chose. The ability to be in the heart of New York City while attending a world-renowned institution also meant she wouldn't have to travel far from home to pursue her dreams.</span></p> <p><span class="p-body">So far, Oliva's experience at NYU SPS has been everything she hoped for and more. As a graduate student in the Publishing program, she has had the chance to meet like-minded individuals who share her passion for books and the publishing industry. In addition to building relationships, Oliva has also explored different areas of her field, including attending company visits and the London Book Fair. These experiences have been instrumental in helping her shape her future career path.</span></p>

<p><span class="p-body">Although Oliva hasn't taken any specific hands-on courses like a capstone or practicum yet, she finds that every course she has taken has provided practical knowledge applicable to her internships and job. After graduation, she hopes to advance within the company and work towards becoming a social media manager for an imprint.
