<p><span class="p-body">Saloni Choksi is pursuing an <a href="/content/sps-nyu/explore/degrees-and-programs/ms-in-management-and-systems.html" target="_blank">MS in Project Management</a> program at SPS. She chose SPS for its wide array of majors, immersive learning experience and world renowned faculty members with domain expertise. </span></p>
<p><span class="p-body">"Having worked as an architect for three years, I wanted to explore the business side of the projects for a more holistic understanding,” she shared. “The MS Project Management program offers a great balance between the technical, business, and leadership skills required to manage projects across industries. It also focuses on developing the soft skills which, according to me, are the most important skill sets to make a successful career in Project Management."</span></p>
<p><span class="p-body">Choksi's favorite course at SPS is Project Management Operations because Professor Henry Pruitt MBA, PMP, CSM reportedly made learning about project management tools, techniques, and methodologies really fun. “We had class simulations of real-world project initiatives,” she recalled. “They provided me with a strong grasp of PM artifacts and approaches."</span></p>
<p><span class="p-body">In her free time, Choksi loves to visit parks (with Bow Bridge in Central Park being her go-to spot) as well as explore pizza places around New York City.</span></p>
