What stands out to me most about NYU SPS is how inclusive and connected the community feels.”

Bhatia also became an orientation leader. “Helping [new students] find their place in this big city feels incredibly meaningful,” she explains. Beyond leadership roles, she has participated in networking events, community service projects, and hackathons. Each opportunity has been a chance to learn from peers, professors, and mentors who bring diverse global perspectives to the classroom.

“What stands out to me most about SPS is how inclusive and connected the community feels,” Bhatia, an international student, shares. “I’ve met so many amazing people from around the world, each with their own stories and perspectives. They’ve made New York feel like home and shown me how education connects us across cultures.”
