Seven years of fielding public relations and communications initiatives for UNICEF led Prince Gregorio to the realization that there is always more to learn in one’s chosen field. Gregorio’s solution? NYC: The Epicenter of PR and Corporate Communications

In the constantly evolving PR and communications landscape, the program’s hands-on approach was critical for Gregorio. “We learn practical applications and how things actually work in the real world. For example, in Strategic Communications: Thinking, Planning and Execution, the instructor had us present every week and would then give us pointers on the best way to present our pitch to clients.”

“All of the big PR firms, marketing firms, big agencies are here, which is emblematic of why New York is the ‘mecca’ of public relations and corporate communications,” says Gregorio. “This can all-too-often create a feeling of “I’m too small for this,” he adds. “Don’t waste your time feeling like you’re an imposter because you’re not. Whether you are new to the career field, the City, or NYU, everyone is welcome here to thrive and succeed.”
