Coming from a small town with deep cultural roots, his hardworking attitude has propelled him to success and stoked his desire to leverage his education for greater achievements. Yengde brings his sharp curiosity and eagerness to explore new horizons to his academic and professional life at NYU SPS and beyond.</span></p> <p><span class="p-body">Yengde decided to apply to the MS in Global Hospitality Management program mostly due to NYU's focus on diversity, innovation, and global education. Coming from a close-knit community, he saw SPS as the perfect place to broaden his understanding of the world. He was particularly drawn to the bustling campus life and the opportunity to study in New York City, a hub for global business and culture. For Akash, NYU offered more than just an academic stepping stone, but a transformative life experience.</span></p> <p><span class="p-body">Reflecting on his time at NYU, Yengde describes it as &quot;an incredibly enriching experience. This course, he explains, was &quot;an immersive learning experience where we analyzed real-world case studies and worked on projects that required us to develop strategies for businesses operating in diverse cultural environments.&quot;</span></p> <p><span class="p-body">This hands-on approach is a hallmark of NYU's MS in Global Hospitality Management program, where students are encouraged to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios. Courses like <i>Managing Operations</i> and <i>Distribution and Demand Management</i> have further prepared Yengde to navigate the ever-evolving hospitality world. The latter, he notes, has been particularly impactful, providing him with &quot;a thorough understanding of how to efficiently manage and optimize distribution channels and forecast demand in the hospitality industry.&quot;</span></p>

<p><span class="p-body">Looking ahead, Yengde is eager to translate his learning into action. His goal is to develop a well-rounded skill set by immersing himself in various roles within the hospitality industry.
