What makes you proud to be an alum?
<p><span class="p-body">I am a proud CGA alum because my Master's program was pivotal in shaping my professional capabilities and preparing me to effectively work in challenging environments.</span></p>
What are your main areas of responsibility in your current role?
<p><span class="p-body">As a Foreign Service Executive Officer, I oversee the day-to-day operations and management of USAID Missions abroad.</span></p>
How did your time at the CGA help prepare you for this role?
<p><span class="p-body">My time at NYU's Center for Global Affairs exposed me to a diverse array of people and perspectives. My studies enhanced my knowledge of a wide range of issues and equipped me with the tools necessary to analyze complex global challenges. Choosing my concentration in Transnational Security and specialization in Global Risk ensured that my coursework specifically bolstered my understanding of international issues and dynamics. The practical curriculum, combined with the unique expertise of my professors, ensured that my education would translate to the real world.</span></p>

Any favorite memories at the CGA?
<p><span class="p-body">My most memorable experiences at the CGA included participating in three Practicum courses with the Global Engagement Center (GEC), the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), as well as the United Nations Foundation (UNF). Additionally, the R2E Simulation taught by Professor Ankersen was a particularly engaging and thought-provoking experience.</span></p>
