What makes you proud to be an alum?

I’m proud to be an alum because the program gave me the flexibility to explore emerging fields which helped in the formation of a foundation to pursue a career at the intersection of technology, policy, and ethics.

What are your main areas of responsibility in your current role?

As a consultant, I focus on helping organizations navigate the evolving landscape of AI and emerging technologies by shaping policy-aligned strategies, designing educational programs, and translating complex technical ideas into accessible frameworks. At Frontier Foundry, I specialize in scientific communication—translating cutting-edge developments in fields like AI, quantum computing, and space technology into clear, engaging content. I lead content strategy for an industry recognized publication, using research, analytics, and storytelling to help position the company as a trusted voice in emerging tech. In this role, I’ve developed subject matter expertise in communicating the practical applications of emerging technologies across highly regulated industries like law and finance. I leverage multimedia content—ranging from visual explainers to longform articles and data-driven reports—to make complex innovations both accessible and actionable for professional audiences. This interdisciplinary communication approach helps bridge technical insight with real-world impact.

How did your time at the CGA help prepare you for this role?

Studying transnational security and emerging technology introduced me to the global policy frameworks and governance challenges that now define my consulting work. My research in this space focused on the implications of AI within systems of global infrastructure, helping me think critically about how ethical and sustainable technology deployment can be achieved across industries. That understanding has allowed me to contribute meaningfully to a field where those considerations are often overlooked. By pursuing a novel research path in a traditionally policy-centered environment, I carved out a niche that has helped position me as a growing voice in the emerging technology space.

Any favorite memories at the CGA?

Some of my favorite memories from the CGA are still unfolding through the lasting connections I made there. My advisor Tana OsaYande, Associate Director of Graduate Programs at CGA, has been a guiding voice ever since my acceptance into the program and professor Nick Reese (co-founder of Frontier Foundry) has been critical in supporting my ongoing professional development.

Any other notable achievements since graduating?

I’ve had the opportunity to develop and publish research with Sam Houston State University (SHSU) that focuses on intellectual property theft and emerging technology in critical energy infrastructure. I’ve also created university-level graduate and professional courses focused on emerging technologies. This work allows me to contribute meaningfully to ongoing conversations around ethics and innovation while remaining actively engaged with real-time developments in a rapidly evolving industry.
