We recently spoke to the CGA alum to discuss her experience as an NYU SPS student.</span></p> <p><span class="p-body">Davila, who graduated in 2016, says the program provided her with a “strong theoretical foundation on the interplay between geopolitics and transnational crime,” citing the practical risk analysis, briefing, and negotiation skill she acquired as critical to her current role at Stripe, where she leads a team responsible for “assessing the company’s exposure to money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud and sanctions evasions and advises on risk management strategies.”</span></p> <p> </p>

<p><span class="p-body">One of Davila’s favorite memories as a grad student was working with the UN’s counterterrorism directorate, where she attended a session where tech representatives discussed their methods to combat terrorist use of the internet. “That moment showed me the great role tech and fintech companies play in preventing and combating terrorism and led me to the industry I’m in today.&quot;</span></p>
