Visiting Clinical Assistant Professor and current Executive in Residence in Global Economy at the Center for Global Affairs Chloe Demrovsky began teaching at NYU SPS as an adjunct while simultaneously serving in high‑impact roles as advisor to Fortune 100 companies, startups, and governments on resilience, emergency management, and geoeconomic issues.

“I genuinely love teaching,” shares Demrovsky. “There’s nothing quite as satisfying as developing people and helping them connect ideas to their own lives and ambitions.” Even after speaking at hundreds of events across five continents, serving as a senior Forbes contributor, and appearing on major global news networks, Demrovsky believes that the most meaningful impact comes from when her students apply what they learn in the real world.

She has made it her mission to help students understand that sustainability is “ultimate, long‑term risk management.” Her goal is to prepare graduates who can translate environmental and social issues into the language of boards and investors, build durable strategies, and resist the allure of “greenwashing, cherry‑picked data, [and] easy answers.”
