The Movies That Made Us Love Movies with Harry Chotiner and Sara Lukinson.

We all have movies we love, but what made us fall in love and still remember them? Join us for an hour of lively conversation and reflection as Harry and Sara explore how and why certain movies affected us so deeply, left us laughing or crying, shaped our dreams and desires or ideas about ourselves and the world around us. We'll ask if movies used to have a cultural weight they have since lost or if they are evolving today into something different. Let's see what lies beneath our movie crushes and obsessions–fromSinging in the RaintoCinema ParadisotoThe Godfather. No genre is off-limits.

Bring your own favorite films, along with your questions and insights, as we take up the magic of movies and the ones that made us fall in love with movies and what they could do.

Lunch will be served.
