This exam assesses reading, writing, listening and oral proficiency in Hindi. It consists of multiple-choice questions, short answers, one essay in Hindi, one translation into Hindi, two short audio sections in Hindi, and two oral responses in Hindi. Knowledge of technical or specialized vocabulary is not needed. No dictionaries, reference tools, or other support materials are permitted. This exam is available exclusively online, and you will have three hours in which to complete it. Point scoring is equivalent to undergraduate credits at US colleges; credit granted is at the discretion of the institution receiving the results. You are strongly urged to discuss accreditation with the institution’s adviser prior to taking the exam.
