Develop the skills to start a company that identifies the needs, and solves the problems that matter to customers. You will learn how to identify and analyze business problems that startups face and to deliver solutions to people who need them. The class will teach the lean startup model, which is based on starting a business using a 9-component business "canvas" instead of a traditional business plan. This class will use a mixture of exercises, case studies, lectures, and discussions. You will walk away with a deeper understanding of the dynamics and barriers to starting a successful business. Regardless of the profession you embark on, you will become a more effective conduit for the innovation that all organizations require to survive.
