My SPS education not only equipped me with the tools to succeed, but it also opened up myriad doors for me, demonstrating what career paths were possible and putting me in touch with policymakers, academics, and government officials from around the globe. Courses like The Contemporary Middle East and Transnational Terrorism helped to expand my intellectual horizons. I worked so hard during my years at NYU, and it really paid off, laying the foundation for success at higher levels. Now, as a husband and a father, with an extremely busy personal and professional schedule, I look back so fondly upon my time at SPS and think about the friends, mentors, and others who helped shape me into the scholar and man that I am today."
