Jacob began his career as a Project Manager in April 2002 and transitioned to private consulting in 2008, providing project management expertise to both private and public sectors across Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Africa. Since relocating to the U.S., he has continued to consult for various private sector organizations nationwide.

He holds a Ph.D. and a master’s degree in Project Management from the University of Nairobi, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.

Dr. Kinyanjui has taught project management at two universities for over eight years.

Jacob is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Professional Scrum Master (PSM) and has completed several certifications in Artificial Intelligence through Google, Coursera, and the Project Management Institute.

Dr. Jacob Kinyanjui brings to New York University School of Professional Studies over 23 years of experience in project management consulting and mentoring students to succeed as project managers.
