Neeti Jain is an environmental scientist and storyteller, working at the intersection of climate change, sustainable food systems, and narrative change. Her decade of experience in the environmental movement spans environmental litigation and advocacy, public engagement, and systems thinking in both professional and academic settings.
As a National Science Foundation Fellow, Neeti led justice-centered storytelling initiatives at major natural history museums, centering equity within environmental narratives and informal education. Her work has been featured on podcasts, national public radio, TV segments, and print magazines, and she has published articles in Curator and the Journal of Zoo and Aquarium Research.
Outside the classroom, she leads partnerships work at a national nonprofit and is a producer at the Story Collider, teaching scientists to use the power of narratives to change the world. A Los Angeles native, Neeti has made her way across the three coasts and now spends her time lurking around the underwater dioramas at the American Museum of Natural History.
